Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1.5 cups pitted Medjool dates
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt

  • Mixing bowls
  • 8x8-inch baking dish

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Pulse almonds in a food processor until finely ground.
  3. Add dates and blend until sticky.
  4. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, and salt. Process until combined.
  5. Press mixture firmly into prepared pan.
  6. Chill for 45–60 minutes until firm.
  7. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in refrigerator up to 7 days or freeze up to 3 months.
