Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with liners.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas and mix with melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients just until no flour streaks remain.
- Warm Nutella slightly, add half into the batter, and swirl gently.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups, top with a teaspoon of Nutella, and swirl with a toothpick.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For gooey centers, add a frozen Nutella dollop in the middle of each muffin before baking.
