Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken in olive oil 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add garlic to the pan and cook 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar; simmer 1–2 minutes.
  4. Return chicken and toss in sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes until glazed.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and parsley before serving.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for the juiciest results. Adjust honey or vinegar for your preferred balance of sweet and tangy.
