Ingredients
  

Pasta Base
  • 12 oz dry pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups broth vegetable or chicken
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • Large skillet or pot

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
  3. Pour in broth and cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Add pasta and simmer, stirring frequently, until tender.
  5. Stir in Parmesan until sauce is smooth and creamy.
