One Pot Garlic Butter Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  4. Add pasta, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in remaining butter and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Add cooked chicken, shrimp, or vegetables for a heartier meal. Adjust cream or broth for desired sauce consistency.
