Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp orange liqueur optional
  • cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or sprinkles for coating

Method
 

  1. Heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer.
  2. Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl, pour hot cream over, and stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in orange zest and optional orange liqueur.
  4. Refrigerate ganache for 1–2 hours until firm enough to scoop.
  5. Form truffles using a small scoop or teaspoon.
  6. Roll truffles in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or sprinkles.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the fridge. Freeze for longer storage. Customize coatings and flavors as desired.
