Ingredients
  

Bananas
  • 4 bananas ripe but firm
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Slice bananas diagonally into thick pieces.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until bubbling.
  4. Place bananas in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes.
  5. Flip gently and cook another 1–2 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and serve warm.

Notes

Best served immediately. Use firm bananas for best texture.
