- Pat salmon dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes.
- Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until done.
- Remove salmon and reduce heat to medium.
- Add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, zest, and dill.
- Return salmon to pan and spoon sauce over before serving.
Notes
Do not overcook salmon; it should remain tender and flaky.
