Sandwich
  • 8 slices artisan bread
  • 1 pear thinly sliced
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 6 slices cheese Gruyère or cheddar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
Caramelized Onions
  • 2 yellow onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Method
 

  1. Cook onions slowly with oil and butter until caramelized.
