Cheese Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt to taste
Topping
  • 0.5 cup pepper jelly red or mixed pepper
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon pepper jelly over the top without fully mixing it in.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until hot, melted, and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Adjust spice level by choosing mild or hot pepper jelly.
