Method
- Mix pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and cornstarch.
- Place one teaspoon filling in dumpling wrapper.
- Moisten wrapper edges and fold into pleated dumpling.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place dumplings flat side down and cook until golden brown.
- Add water and cover pan to steam dumplings.
- Cook until filling is done and water evaporates.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
Freeze uncooked dumplings for up to 3 months. Cook from frozen by adding extra steaming time.
