- Pat chicken breasts dry and season evenly on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 6–7 minutes without moving.
- Flip chicken, reduce heat, add butter and garlic.
- Baste chicken and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Rest chicken 5 minutes before serving.
