Main Ingredients
  • 500 g pierogies frozen
  • 300 g kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1 onion large, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook pierogies in salted boiling water according to package instructions and drain.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet and brown kielbasa slices, then remove and set aside.
  3. Add butter and cook onions until caramelized.
  4. Stir in garlic and seasonings, cooking briefly.
  5. Add pierogies and pan-fry until golden on both sides.
  6. Return kielbasa to skillet and mix everything together.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with sour cream for extra richness.
