- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease oven-safe ramekins or bowls.
- Cook Italian sausage in olive oil until browned in a skillet.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
- Stir in garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Roll out pizza dough and cut circles slightly larger than the ramekins.
- Layer mozzarella cheese into ramekins followed by sauce mixture and pepperoni slices.
- Top with parmesan cheese and cover each ramekin with dough.
- Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on top.
- Bake upside down on a baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly, flip onto plates carefully, garnish with basil, and serve hot.
