Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
Crust
  • 1 package pizza dough refrigerated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Oven-safe ramekins or bowls

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease oven-safe ramekins or bowls.
  2. Cook Italian sausage in olive oil until browned in a skillet.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Roll out pizza dough and cut circles slightly larger than the ramekins.
  6. Layer mozzarella cheese into ramekins followed by sauce mixture and pepperoni slices.
  7. Top with parmesan cheese and cover each ramekin with dough.
  8. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on top.
  9. Bake upside down on a baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly, flip onto plates carefully, garnish with basil, and serve hot.
