Ingredients
  

Nugget Mixture
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli finely chopped
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast shredded or minced
  • 1 egg large
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs or oat flour
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese optional
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder optional
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder optional
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Steam broccoli until soft and finely chop.
  3. Mix broccoli, chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, and seasonings in a bowl.
  4. Shape into small nuggets and place on baking sheet.
  5. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden and soft.
  7. Cool fully before serving to baby.

Notes

For babies under 1 year, omit added salt and consider using oat flour.
