Method
- Wash and dry grapes thoroughly, then insert skewers into each grape.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat until dissolved.
- Boil mixture until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Divide syrup into bowls and mix in gelatin powders.
- Dip grapes into candy coating and swirl to cover.
- Dip into ice water briefly to harden shell.
- Place on parchment paper and allow to set before serving.
Notes
Work quickly when dipping as candy hardens fast. Best enjoyed fresh.
