Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp paprika optional
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.75 cup milk
Garlic Butter
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare baking sheet.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Add cheese and milk to form dough.
  5. Drop dough onto baking sheet.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
  7. Brush with garlic butter and serve.

Notes

Best served warm with extra butter.
