Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then add egg and coloring.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk.
- Bake cookies 10–12 minutes and cool completely.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, and marshmallow fluff until fluffy.
- Pipe rose buttercream onto cooled cookies.
Notes
Chill dough if too soft and allow cookies to cool fully before decorating.
