Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Garnish
  • lemon slices
  • mint leaves optional

Method
 

  1. Blend strawberries with 1 cup water until smooth.
  2. Strain puree into a pitcher to remove seeds.
  3. Mix lemon juice and sugar until dissolved.
  4. Combine strawberry puree and lemon mixture.
  5. Add remaining water and stir well.
  6. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  7. Add ice and garnish before serving.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for best flavor. Chill before serving.
