Ingredients
  

Matcha Base
  • 1 tsp matcha powder sifted
  • 2 tbsp hot water not boiling
Rose Latte
  • 1 cup milk any variety
  • 1 tbsp rose syrup
  • 1 tsp honey optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tsp dried rose petals for garnish

Equipment

  • Matcha whisk or milk frother
  • Glass
  • Small bowl
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Sift matcha powder into a small bowl to remove clumps.
  2. Add hot water and whisk rapidly until smooth and lightly foamy.
  3. In a glass, combine milk, rose syrup, and honey. Stir well.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the rose milk mixture over the ice.
  6. Slowly pour the whisked matcha on top to create layers.
  7. Garnish with dried rose petals and optional rose syrup drizzle.
  8. Stir gently before drinking and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding more or less rose syrup or honey. Plant-based milk works perfectly for a dairy-free version.
