- Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
- Add dried lavender and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain syrup into a clean jar and stir in vanilla extract.
- Allow syrup to cool completely before using.
- Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour cold brew coffee evenly into the glasses.
- Add lavender syrup and stir gently.
- Slowly pour milk into each glass for a layered effect.
- Top with whipped cream and lavender buds if desired.
- Serve immediately while chilled.
Notes
Use culinary-grade lavender only. Store leftover lavender syrup refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
