Ingredients
  

Lavender Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Latte
  • 2 cups cold brew coffee chilled
  • 1 cup milk or oat milk cold
  • 2 tbsp lavender syrup or to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 0.25 cup whipped cream optional
  • 1 tsp dried lavender buds for garnish

  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Tall serving glasses
  • Mixing spoon

Method
 

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
  2. Add dried lavender and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain syrup into a clean jar and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Allow syrup to cool completely before using.
  6. Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
  7. Pour cold brew coffee evenly into the glasses.
  8. Add lavender syrup and stir gently.
  9. Slowly pour milk into each glass for a layered effect.
  10. Top with whipped cream and lavender buds if desired.
  11. Serve immediately while chilled.

Notes

Use culinary-grade lavender only. Store leftover lavender syrup refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
