Ingredients
  

Granita Base
  • 4 cups watermelon cubed
  • 3 kiwi peeled
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest optional
  • 1 tbsp honey optional

Method
 

  1. Blend watermelon until smooth.
  2. Strain juice if desired for smoother texture.
  3. Mix in sugar, lime juice, and zest.
  4. Blend kiwi separately and sweeten if needed.
  5. Combine or layer mixtures in a shallow dish.
  6. Freeze for 1 hour until edges set.
  7. Scrape with a fork and return to freezer.
  8. Repeat scraping every 30 minutes for 2–3 hours.
  9. Fluff granita and serve chilled.

Notes

Use ripe fruit for best flavor. Adjust sweetness before freezing.
