Cheddar Cracker Dough
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.125 tsp cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix butter and grated cheddar until creamy.
  3. Add flour, salt, and cayenne pepper; mix until crumbly.
  4. Fold in Rice Krispies cereal gently to maintain texture.
  5. Form 1-inch balls, place on baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
