Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Irish Cream Frosting
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp Irish cream liqueur
  • 1-2 tbsp heavy cream as needed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate together until smooth. Cool slightly.
  3. Whisk in sugars, then add eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla and Irish cream.
  4. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt just until combined.
  5. Pour into pan and bake 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Beat butter for frosting until fluffy. Add powdered sugar gradually.
  7. Mix in Irish cream, vanilla, salt, and cream until smooth.
  8. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Slice and serve.

Notes

Chill before slicing for clean edges. Store in airtight container.
