Method
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Rub chicken with olive oil and coat with garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and lemon zest.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 9 minutes, then flip the chicken.
- Continue cooking for 6–9 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Pound thick chicken breasts for even cooking and always allow the chicken to rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
