Ingredients
  

Sausage Mixture
  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 10 oz Rotel tomatoes with green chilies drained
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 cups baking mix
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix sausage and softened cream cheese until fully combined.
  3. Stir in drained Rotel, cheddar cheese, and seasonings.
  4. Gradually add baking mix until a thick dough forms.
  5. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Drain Rotel thoroughly for best texture. These sausage balls freeze and reheat beautifully.
