Ingredients

  • 2 oz premium vodka
  • 1 oz freshly brewed espresso cooled to room temperature
  • 1/2 oz coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa
  • 1/2 oz salted caramel syrup
  • 1/4 oz heavy cream
  • ice cubes for shaking
  • 3 coffee beans for garnish
  • coarse sea salt for rim preparation
  • caramel sauce for rim and drizzle
  • fresh whipped cream optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • Martini glass
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Measuring jigger
  • Bar spoon

Method

  1. Prepare the martini glass: Dip the rim into caramel sauce, then into coarse sea salt for an elegant caramel-salted rim. Place in freezer to chill.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  3. Add vodka, cooled espresso, coffee liqueur, salted caramel syrup, and heavy cream to the shaker.
  4. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled and foamy.
  5. Double strain into the prepared martini glass for a smooth, silky texture.
  6. Drizzle additional caramel sauce on top of the foam.
  7. Garnish with exactly three coffee beans (for health, wealth, and happiness). Optionally, top with whipped cream and a pinch of sea salt for added indulgence.
  8. Serve immediately while chilled and foamy.

Notes

For best results, use freshly brewed espresso and shake vigorously to achieve that iconic martini foam. Adjust sweetness with more or less salted caramel syrup.
