Quiche Filling
  • 1 prepared 9-inch pie crust
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup whole milk
  • 0.5 cup onion diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare pie crust in pie dish and blind bake for 8 minutes.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy, crumble, and sauté onions in butter.
  4. Layer bacon, onions, and cheese into crust.
  5. Whisk eggs, cream, milk, and seasonings.
  6. Pour egg mixture over filling.
  7. Bake 35–40 minutes until set.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try Gruyère or Swiss cheese. Can be made crustless for a low-carb option.
