- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Bake 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Heat butter and remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook mushrooms for 8–10 minutes until browned and caramelized.
- Add garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 minutes more.
- Mix goat cheese with heavy cream until smooth.
- Spread goat cheese mixture over toasted baguette slices.
- Top with warm mushroom mixture and garnish with parsley and balsamic glaze.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
