  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 0.25 cup cream
  • 0.5 cup cheese grated
  • 1 egg

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet.
  2. Cut and score puff pastry into shapes.
  3. Cook onions, garlic, and mushrooms until golden.
  4. Add cream and seasoning, cook briefly.
  5. Fill pastry centers and top with cheese.
  6. Brush edges with egg wash.
  7. Bake until golden and puffed.

Notes

Use a mix of mushrooms for best flavor and avoid soggy filling by cooking off excess moisture.
