Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk large
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 0.125 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
Filling
  • 1 tbsp Nutella heaping spoonful

  • Mini cast iron skillet
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 6-inch skillet.
  2. Mix melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract; stir well.
  4. Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Press half the dough into skillet, add Nutella in center, cover with remaining dough.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden edges form.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Slightly underbake for gooey center. Best enjoyed fresh and warm.
