- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice bread lengthwise and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Mix butter, garlic, and parsley, then spread on bread halves.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5–6 minutes until thickened.
- Spoon Sloppy Joe mixture over bread halves. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil 2 minutes for golden top.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Make the beef mixture ahead for quick assembly. For spice, add jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese. Leftovers reheat best in the oven or air fryer.
