  • 6 cups sweet corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese cubed
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Add corn, cream cheese, butter, milk, and seasonings to the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir well until creamy and smooth.
  4. Add cheddar cheese and bacon, then cook 15–20 minutes more until melted.
  5. Season to taste, garnish, and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust milk for desired consistency. Keep warm in slow cooker for serving.
