- Grease the slow cooker lightly with olive oil or nonstick spray.
- Layer sliced onions on the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place chicken breasts on top of onions in a single layer.
- Season chicken evenly with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
- Add minced garlic over the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth around the chicken.
- Drizzle olive oil on top, cover, and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1.5–2 hours.
- Remove chicken, rest briefly, then slice or shred and serve with juices.
Notes
Avoid overcooking to keep chicken tender and juicy.
