- Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
- Top with onion, garlic, tomatillos, peppers, spices, and broth.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Remove chicken, shred, and return to slow cooker.
- Stir in hominy and cook 30 minutes more.
- Finish with lime juice and cilantro before serving.
