Ingredients
  

Main Dish
  • 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • 2 tbsp water for cornstarch slurry
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 green onions chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic.
  2. Arrange chicken thighs in slow cooker and pour sauce over them.
  3. Cook on low 4–5 hours or high 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. Optional: mix cornstarch and water, add to slow cooker, cook 10–15 minutes to thicken sauce.
  5. Serve with sauce, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days. Reheat gently in microwave or stovetop.
