  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 potatoes diced
  • 3 carrots sliced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Add diced potatoes, sliced carrots, and diced onion to the slow cooker.
  2. Crumble ground beef over the vegetables or brown it first for richer flavor.
  3. Add garlic, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth and stir everything together.
  5. Cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  6. Optional: Stir in peas 20 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve warm with bread or rice.

Notes

For thicker stew, reduce broth to 3 cups. For added richness, brown the beef first.
