Pancakes
  • 1.5 cups pancake mix
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 pinch salt
Burger Patties
  • 0.5 lb ground beef 80/20
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
Sauce & Toppings
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup pickles sliced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup optional drizzle

Method
 

  1. Whisk pancake mix, egg, milk, melted butter, and salt until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Divide ground beef into small balls. Smash on a hot griddle until flat and crispy. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook pancakes on medium heat until golden. Flip once bubbles form.
  4. Layer pancake, cheese, and burger patty. Repeat to stack.
  5. Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard for the sauce.
  6. Top with pickles, sauce, and optional maple syrup. Serve warm.

Notes

Add bacon or a fried egg for an extra indulgent touch.
