Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in chicken thighs skin-on
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat oil and sear chicken on both sides until golden, about 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until soft.
  4. Add garlic and spices; cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stir to combine, and simmer 3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, cover, and cook 20–25 minutes until tender and cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let simmer uncovered for 5 extra minutes before serving.
