Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz feta cheese block, cubed
  • 1.5 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1.5 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp black peppercorns
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Pat feta cubes dry and place into a clean glass jar.
  2. Add garlic, herbs, chili flakes, peppercorns, and lemon zest.
  3. Pour olive oil over feta until fully submerged.
  4. Seal and gently rotate to distribute flavors.
  5. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Flavor improves after 24–48 hours of marinating.
