Ingredients
  

Slow Cooker Base
  • 2 lbs steak cubed
  • 6 potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for searing

Method
 

  1. Cut steak into cubes and sear in olive oil until browned.
  2. Add potatoes, onion, and garlic to slow cooker, then layer steak on top.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, cover, and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours.
  5. Stir in cream and cheddar 30 minutes before serving until melted and creamy.
  6. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, use freshly shredded cheddar and stir in additional milk when reheating leftovers.
