Method
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet cook garlic until fragrant.
- Add maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer 10–12 minutes until cooked through.
- Spoon glaze over chicken, garnish with herbs, and serve.
Notes
Use pure maple syrup for best flavor and simmer sauce until thick and glossy.
