Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 10 oz egg noodles cooked
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions and set aside.
  2. Toss sliced beef with cornstarch until coated.
  3. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, ginger, garlic, and broth.
  4. Sear beef in hot oil until browned, then remove.
  5. Simmer sauce in the same pan until thickened.
  6. Add noodles and beef back to the pan and toss to coat.
  7. Finish with sesame oil and garnish before serving.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or spice to taste.
