Smoothie Bowl Base
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 2 ripe bananas sliced and frozen
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 5 ice cubes
Toppings
  • 0.5 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 0.5 cup granola
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 0.25 cup blueberries

Equipment

  • High-powered blender
  • Serving bowls
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoons

Method

  1. Add frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, chia seeds, and ice cubes into a blender.
  2. Blend slowly at first, then increase speed until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
  3. Scrape down the blender sides if needed to ensure everything blends evenly.
  4. Add a splash of almond milk if the smoothie is too thick, but avoid making it runny.
  5. Spoon the smoothie mixture evenly into serving bowls.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries, bananas, granola, coconut flakes, blueberries, and chia seeds.
  7. Drizzle lightly with honey if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie bowl, freeze the bananas overnight and use minimal liquid while blending.
