Ingredients
  

Sago Mixture
  • 0.5 cup small sago pearls
  • 2 cups water
Strawberry Base
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 0.5 cup sugar
Cream Mixture
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 0.25 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Garnish
  • To taste fresh strawberry slices
  • Optional mint leaves

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water to boil. Gradually add sago pearls, stirring constantly.
  2. Cook on medium heat for 10–12 minutes until translucent with a small white center.
  3. Drain and rinse sago under cold water to remove excess starch.
  4. Blend chopped strawberries and sugar until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix coconut milk, condensed milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Fold cooked sago into the strawberry puree.
  7. Pour coconut milk mixture over strawberry-sago blend and mix gently.
  8. Chill for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  9. Garnish with strawberry slices and mint before serving.

Notes

Adjust sweetness depending on strawberries' natural sugar content.
