  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp butter for cooking
Filling
  • 1 cup strawberries diced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and strawberries until smooth.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Spread filling between bread slices to form sandwiches.
  4. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture evenly.
  5. Cook in buttered skillet over medium heat until golden on both sides.
