  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • frosting, jam, or chocolate chips for filling

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually mix in flour mixture until dough forms.
  5. Roll dough into balls and press into muffin cups, creating a small well in the center.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
  7. Fill each cup with frosting, jam, or chocolate chips and serve.

Notes

Decorate with sprinkles or festive toppings. Store unfilled cups for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for longer storage.
