Method
- Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl and let soak for 5 minutes.
- Mix ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, egg, soaked breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and allspice.
- Shape mixture into small meatballs.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet and brown meatballs in batches until cooked through.
- Remove meatballs and melt butter in the same skillet.
- Whisk flour into butter and cook until lightly golden.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth until smooth.
- Add heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer until thickened.
- Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve warm with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.

For authentic flavor, serve with lingonberry jam and buttery mashed potatoes.
