- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch pan or line with parchment.
- Toast pecans on a baking sheet for 5–7 minutes until fragrant.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Fold dry mixture into wet ingredients until combined.
- Stir in toasted pecans.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, brown the butter before adding it to the batter.
