Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2-3 tsp sweet and spicy pepper jelly
  • paprika for garnish
  • fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Slice hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks.
  2. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg whites.
  4. Top each deviled egg with a small dollop of sweet and spicy pepper jelly.
  5. Sprinkle lightly with paprika and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

For an extra kick, use a spicy pepper jelly or add a pinch of cayenne to the yolk mixture. Serve chilled for best results.
